بازی Ghost Recon Future Soldier که چندین سال پس از بازی قبلی این سری یعنی Advanced Warfighter 2 در سال 2012 منتشر شد ، از لحاظ گیم پلی و گرافیک پیشرفت گسترده و فوق العاده ای رو داشت و توانست موفقیت های زیادی را کسب کند و این سری را به اوج خود برساند ، در این بازی که داستان یک شورش در روسیه را روایت میکند شما در ابتدای بازی تیم اولیه Ghost ها را به وسیله یک تله که برای آنها گذاشته شده بود از دست میدهید ، لذا در هنگام مبارزه با شورشیان روسیه باید پرده از توطئه ای که برای Ghost ها شده بود نیز بردارید.
